Executive produced and reported by Ann Curry, each episode of WE'LL MEET AGAIN reveals the powerful bonds forged amongst people who now, confronting the odds, have the hazard to reunite with someone who transformed their life.

The tides of history can disrupt lives, throwing strangers together or tearing loved ones apart. WE'LL MEET Over again reveals these moving personal stories of hope, courage and love:

  • A Vietnam War baby desperate to find the American father she last saw forty years ago
  • The military chaplain who helped a stranger through the trauma of 9/11
  • A Japanese-American girl interned in 1942 who never forgot the classmate who helped her during her darkest hours
  • Civil rights workers whose lives were forever inverse past the deep relationships they formed in the 1960s Southward

Nosotros'LL MEET AGAIN takes viewers on a journey of hope, searching for clues in marriage records and war and immigration documents, and combing athenaeum to reunite those separated by time and altitude.

"This series helps people separated by conflict, war and humanitarian disasters detect each other again and reveals untold stories of courage, survival, friendship and fifty-fifty dear," said Curry. "This is man history — not from the indicate of view of kings or politicians or generals — but of everyday people on the front lines of massive events they take no way to control. Their stories tell united states of america something about what nosotros are made of."

"Nosotros'LL MEET Once again is where history meets the drama of existent life," said Beth Hoppe, Principal Programming Executive and General Managing director, General Audition Programming, PBS. "Major events are brought to life in a completely personal manner through these memorable stories of those torn autonomously and thrown together. And how wonderful to have the opportunity to be present at these extraordinary reunions."

EPISODE GUIDE:

Episode ane: "Children Of WWII" aired Tuesday, Jan. 23 at 8 p.m. - Join Ann Curry for the dramatic reunions of people separated by WWII. A Japanese-American adult female sent to an internment camp hopes to find a childhood friend, and a survivor from a Jewish ghetto searches for the child of the couple who befriended him.

Episode 2: "Rescued From Mount St. Helens" aired Tuesday, Jan. 30 at 8 p.m. - Join Ann Curry for the reunions of people whose lives crossed during the deadly eruption. Mindy searches for a scientist's family unit to tell them how he saved her life, and Sue wants to observe the helicopter pilot who rescued her from near-certain expiry.

Episode three: "Lost Children Of Vietnam" aired Tuesday, Feb. six at 8 p.thousand. - Join Ann Curry for the dramatic reunions between people separated after the state of war. Tina, born in Vietnam, searches for her American father. Nam hopes to find the Texas cowboy who saved him as a young boy and inspired him to come to America.

Episode 4: "Heroes Of ix/11" aired Tuesday, Feb. 13 at viii p.m. - Join Ann Curry for dramatic reunions between people whose lives intersected on nine/11. Patrick searches for the stranger who comforted him after the disaster, and Tim hopes to give thanks the fellow chaplain who gave him the force to conduct on.

Episode v: "Freedom Summer" aired Tuesday, Feb. 20 at 8 p.chiliad. - Join Ann Curry for the dramatic reunions of people who lost touch after the civil rights move. Fatima hopes to thank Thelma for her courage in the face of racism, and Sherie searches for the friend who inspired her commitment to social justice.

Episode 6: "Coming Out" repeats Tuesday, June 9 at 8 p.m. - Join Ann Curry equally those whose lives were changed by the early days of the gay rights movement reunite. Tom wants to discover the childhood friend who urged him to come up out, while Paul seeks a fellow student who inspired him to stand up upwards for his beliefs.
